Exquisite exoticism and implicit eroticism are the hallmarks of the queen of quirky Uma Thurman. The daughter of Buddhists and the goddaughter of high priest of LSD Timothy Leary, Uma was named after a Hindu goddess. Unsurprisingly, after roles in movies like Kiss Daddy Goodnight (1987) and Johnny Be Good (1988) the former model was cast as the Goddess of Love in The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988). She played a goddess of nipple teasing instead, standing naked inside of a giant clam shell but managing to mostly cover her body. Her peach pearls were unveiled for worship, however, in Dangerous Liaisons (1988). Uma takes off a frock and lets John Malkovich, who we’ve never wanted to be more than in that moment, kiss her topless body. Uma got artsy in Where the Heart Is (1990) when her breasts were painted with eyeballs for a living motion picture but is less avante garde in Mad Dog and Glory (1993) when she takes her top off for sexy time with Robert DeNiro, a scene that had us foaming somewhere other than the mouth. Up next came the role Uma is likely most famous for, Marcellus’ five dollar milkshake drinking, heroin snorting wife Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction (1994). The iconic dance scene with John Travolta and the open white blouse had us begging for more T and A, but Uma instead stayed dressed in the DNA based sci-fi drama Gattaca (1997) where she met onetime husband Ethan Hawke. Uma re-teamed with Quentin Tarantino to play Beatrix Kiddo, the revenge fueled Bride in Kill Bill: Volume 1 (2003) and Kill Bill: Volume 2 (2004). She was kicking a ton of butt, but not showing much onscreen until she made an oopsie and let loose some unintentional nippage while sunbathing in Be Cool (2005). When Uma’s scorchingly hot, tall and thin bod are on the screen, being cool seems like an insurmountable task. After a long nudity hiatus and some work on the small screen in The Slap, Imposters and Netflix’s Chambers, Uma was back in business, baring her breasts during an Anatomy Award worthy threesome with Maggie Q and some lucky dude in The Con is On (2018). We don’t know what the Q was, but if the A is more of Uma’s godly body, we’re happy!
